Jet Airways commenced operations on 5th May, 1993 and quickly went on to become one of the leading players in the market. The airline is a member of the IATA Clearing House besides being a participant of the IATA Multilateral Agreement for Passengers and Cargo Traffic. It has also received the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Registration. IATA's airline partners use IOSA as a benchmark for fixing quality and safety parameters. Jet has a primary hub and maintenance base in Mumbai, while its secondary bases are located in Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, and Brussels.
Route Network
Jet Airways serves an extensive network of 75 destinations spread out over the country as well as overseas. This includes 51 domestic destinations and 24 overseas locations. Frequent Flyer Programme
The Frequent Flyer Programme of Jet Airways is JetPrivilege. This celebrated loyalty programme has five levels of membership namely Blue, Blue Plus, Silver, Gold and the exclusive Platinum. Members can look forward to a plethora of benefits like convenient redemption, better rewards, simpler tier retention, and faster upgrades to name a few. JetPrivilege has bagged the prestigious Freddie Awards for five years in a row. These awards are regarded as the 'Oscars' of frequent flyer programmes globally. Some of the major highlights of this programme are confirmed reservations up to 24 hours prior to departure, extra baggage allowance, lounge access, upgrade vouchers, and priority stand by.
In-Flight Services
Jet Airways is one of the luxury airlines in India and remains the top choice for many travellers looking forward to a comfortable flight. Delectable gourmet meals, numerous music channels, a wide choice of movies, and some excellent reading material are all part and parcel of the in-flight services offered by the airline.
