Day 01: Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Cairo.
Day 02: Cairo
After breakfast in Cairo, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, including the Pyramid of Khufu and the Sphinx. Drive to Memphis, once a vast metropolis and capital of the Old Kingdom. Continue to Saqqara, the oldest stone complex in the world to see the towering step Pyramid of Djoser, the earliest of all pyramids. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast included).
Day 03: Cairo - Luxor
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and you will be transferred to the airport to board flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the city and board the Nile Cruise Boat. Explore the east bank of Luxor to see two of the most impressive temples in Upper Egypt - Karnak and Luxor. The main place of worship in Theban times and built over a period of 1300 years, the temple of Karnak is an impressive structure. Continue to the Luxor temple built by Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty and completed by Ramesses II of the 19th dynasty. Overnight Nile Cruise. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 04: Luxor - Esna - Edfu
After breakfast on the cruise, proceed on an unforgettable journey enjoying the sights of Luxor's west bank, the Necropolis of the ancient city of Thebes. At the Valley of the Kings, which is the burial place of the kings of Thebes, enjoy the remnants of three majestic tombs. Continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut and discover the history of the temple. Enjoy a brief photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, which marks the site of the funerary temple of Amenhotep III. Later cruise via the Esna Lock to Edfu and stay .Overnight on board. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 05: Edfu - Kom Ombo - Aswan
After breakfast, disembark in Kom Ombo and visit the Dual Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. Enjoy lunch as you sail towards Edfu and visit the famous Temple of Horus, the falcon God. Stay overnight on-board the Nile Cruise. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 06: Aswan
After breakfast, enjoy a day tour to the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960 protecting Egypt from annual floods from the Nile. Proceed to visit the Unfinished Obelisk, which shows the technique used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks. Then on to the majestic Philae Temple which was built in honour of goddess Isis, the chief deity of the island. In the afternoon sail by felucca around the lush islands of Aswan. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 07: Aswan - Cairo
After breakfast, return from the cruise and you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight back to the capital. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the city hotel, conveniently located in the centre of Cairo. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast included).
Day 08: Cairo
After breakfast, proceed to marvel at the glittering treasures of Tutankhamun on the tour of the Egyptian Museum. Later visit the towering citadel, the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, the vibrant Khan El Khalili Bazaar and the Hanging Church. Stay overnight at hotel. (Breakfast included).
Day 09: Cairo
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight back to India. (Breakfast included).
