Buddha Air Pvt. Ltd. is an airline based in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur District in Nepal. Also called as Buddha Air, it was founded in the year 1997 and started its operations in 11 October 1997 with one Beechcraft 1900D, six commanders, six co-pilots flying out to five destinations within Nepal. The airline operates domestic as well as international services in Nepal and India. It mainly serves large towns and cities in Nepal, linking Kathmandu with 10 destinations (Bhadrapur, Bhairahawa, Biratnagar, Bharatpur, Dhangadhi, Pokhara, Simara, Nepalgunj, Janakpur and Tumlingtar) and the only international destination covered by this airline is Varanasi.
