The Drass War Memorial:
Also known as 'the Kargil War Memorial', is the major tourist attraction in Drass. It is located on the Srinagar-Leh Highway. This structure is erected to commemorate the sacrifice of Indian soldiers who lost their lives during the Indo-Pak war, defending a barren and desolate landscape. This memorial has a very nice gallery that dilates the scenes from the blood battle. Further, the stunning view of the Tololing Range at the backdrop is worth a capture. Kargil Vijay Diwas, which is celebrated on 26 July every year in the Kargil Drass sector, is a tribute to the Kargil War Heroes.
Tiger Hill:
