Sikkim is located at hills and this is the reason, it doesn't have any rail network. The nearest railway stations are Siliguri and New Jalpaiguri situated at distances of 114 km and 126 km respectively. Both of these stations are well-connected with cities like Delhi, Kolkata, and Guwahati. From railways stations, one can get private taxis and regular buses to reach Gangtok.
